Cheesy Gratin Potatoes

If you’re craving something delicious and easy to make, try Cheesy Gratin Potatoes! This recipe is not only tasty but also super satisfying. It’s quick to prepare, packed with flavor, and pairs perfectly with a fresh salad or some juicy roasted chicken.

What You’ll Need:

For this cheesy, creamy delight, you’ll only need a few simple ingredients: potatoes, sour cream, cheese, and eggs. That’s it—easy, right?

How to Make It:

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Peel, wash, and slice them into rounds. Boil them for about 10 minutes in salted water—just enough to soften them, but not fully cook them.

  2. Make the Creamy Mixture: Mix the sour cream with 70 ml of milk (or water) until smooth. Then, whisk in the eggs, salt, and pepper.

  3. Layer It Up: In an ovenproof dish, layer the potatoes, sprinkle with seasoning, add half of the shredded cheese, and pour half of the creamy mixture. Repeat with another layer of potatoes, the rest of the cream, and finish with more cheese on top.

  4. Bake to Perfection: Pop the dish into a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 minutes or until the top is beautifully golden and bubbly.

Time to Enjoy!

Serve these cheesy gratin potatoes as a side dish with oven-roasted chicken, garlic butter drumsticks, or rosemary-baked chicken breast. It’s a winning meal for any day of the week!
